Slick roads blamed for I-80 crashes

Authorities believe icy weather is responsible for two separate pileups Tuesday morning on Interstate 80.
The accidents happened around 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes between Larkin Avenue and Center Street.
One crash involved six vehicles and the other involved three, police said.
One person was hospitalized with minor injuries but all of the other drivers and passengers refused medical treatment.
