No one was hurt, but a building in an industrial area of New Lenox sustained about $15,000 in damage Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out, New Lenox Fire Protection District Chief Jon Mead said.
Firefighters responded to a fire at Modern Food Equipment, in the 22000 block of Howell Drive, shortly after noon, Mead said. The cause of the fire was possibly electrical but still was under investigation, Mead said.
The fire started between two walls, Mead said.
The Manhattan Fire Department assisted New Lenox.
