New men’s auxiliary group forming at Cantigny VFW

JOLIET — Diana Stonitsch’s models in her Ministry of Fashion are scheduled to show off new fashions from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Al’s Steakhouse, 1990 W. Jefferson St.
Auxiliary program
JOLIET — Cantigny VFW Post 367 will launch a men’s auxiliary program to promote patriotism and honor military servicemen and women.
The new arm of the post will fill a similar role to that of the women’s auxiliary — aiding and assisting the VFW in establishing a volunteer network within the community that directly supports veterans and their families.
The first meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the post, 826 Horseshoe Drive. All men over the age of 16 who are related to a veteran of a foreign war are invited.

MOKENA — A state employment webinar for people with disabilities will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Mokena Library, 11327 W. 195th St.
The webinar is for people with disabilities and the agencies that serve them.
