Frankfort Chamber showcase to be Saturday

FRANKFORT — The Frankfort Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Community Showcase from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lincoln-Way East High School Field House, 201 Colorado Ave. Admission and parking are free.
The Frankfort Lions Club will sponsor the Heartland Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.,m.
The event will feature more than 80 exhibitors, family entertainment, food and prizes.
Lions fashion show in New Lenox
NEW LENOX — The New Lenox Lions Club will host the annual It’s A Garden Party Fashion Show at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the New Lenox Veterans of Foreign Wars post, 323 Old Hickory Road.
Tickets cost $25 and include lunch and wine, Trustee Nancy Dye told the village board Monday.

Fire department to hold pancake breakfast
PLAINFIELD — The Plainfield Fire Department will hold its annual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 10 at the former downtown fire station, 15025 S. Des Plaines St.
