Big Brothers planning fundraisers

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties asks the community to support Bowl for Kids’ Sake, the mentoring organization’s biggest annual fundraiser.
After raising $80,000 in 2013, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties hopes to top its $100,000 goal through these events:
VIP Opening Night: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Crest Hill Lanes, 905 Theodore St., Crest Hill.
Grundy County: noon to 2 p.m. March 9 at Echo Bowling Lanes, 220 Bedford Road, Morris.
Will County: 9 to 11 p.m. March 16 at Crest Hill Lanes.
Lincoln-Way: Presented by Old Plank Trail Community Bank, 2 to 4 p.m. March 23 at Laraway Lanes, 1009 W. Laraway Road, New Lenox.
Cops vs. Fire: noon to 2 p.m. March 24 at Strike ‘N Spare, 811 Northern Ave., Lockport.

For every $150 of donations raised, participants will receive an entry into a raffle for a free iPad. The individual bowler who raises the most money at each event (minimum $750) will win an Apple iPad Mini.
