JOLIET — The city of Joliet and Waste Management announced the resumption of yard waste collection April 1. Yard waste collection had been suspended for the winter.

Residents are reminded that yard waste must be placed in permanent-type, 33-gallon refuse containers that are identified with a “yard waste only” or “Y” sticker, or in 32-gallon disposable Kraft paper bags (no sticker necessary).

Stickers are available, free of charge, at all Dominick’s and Jewel stores in Joliet and the Joliet Municipal Building at the Information Desk.
