Joliet City Council candidates forum scheduled

The St. Pat’s Neighborhood Association will hold a candidates forum for Joliet City Council candidates on March 20.
All four candidates have accepted invitations to appear at the forum, according to the association. The forum will be at 6 p.m. at the Patrick Haley Mansion, 17 S. Center St.
Candidates on the ballot for the April 9 election are incumbent council members Don Fisher, Jan Quillman and Michael Turk and challenger Jim McFarland.
Three positions are open for the at-large council seats, which are elected citywide.
