Updated: April 8, 2013 7:37AM

Cinemark has announced that the next set of films for its “Classics Series” will feature six Academy Award-winning Best Picture movies.

All of the digitally restored movies will be scheduled to play at 2 and 7 p.m. Wednesdays through the months of March and April.

Cinemark has selected six titles that were visionary films at their time of release, and still stand as true “classics” today.

Dates for the screenings are as follows:

Wednesday: “Forrest Gump”

March 13: “West Side Story”

March 20: “Lawrence of Arabia”

March 27: “American Beauty”

April 3: “Casablanca”

April 10: “The Godfather”

A discounted rate of $30 is available for people interested in attending all six film screenings.
