Fetch: Dog makes getting morning Herald-News a snap

Cody didn’t let the area’s biggest snowfall in two years stop him Wednesday morning.
“Getting the paper in the morning is his biggest joy and the snow makes it more fun for him,” Matt Pritz said of the 8-year-old yellow Lab retriever.
Since 2011, Pritz has operated K-9 Intel and given obedience and behavior modification training at dog owner’s homes.
Cody’s natural instinct to fetch made The Herald-News retrieval fairly easy.
“He drops it immediately when he comes back in now, but at first he did want to hold onto it awhile,” Pritz said.
While getting the morning paper is a treat for Cody, Pritz also enjoys that he can get his Herald-News without going outside on a cold morning.
