Police blotter: Cops investigate Crete Twp. mugging

Police are investigating if a mugging early Sunday outside a Crete Township gas station is related to an ongoing dispute.
Around 2:30 a.m. the victim and a friend were outside BP Amoco, 24525 S. Western Ave., when a car pulled up and two men got out, Will County Sheriff Deputy Chief Ken Kaupas said.
The pair punched the man and took his wristwatch, sweatshirt and $80 before driving away.
“It appears the victim knew at least one of the offenders from prior contacts,” Kaupas said.

Richard A. Kowalski: 48, of 2117 218th Place in Sauk Village, was arrested by sheriff’s police Thursday on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license.
Jeffery V. Young: 31, of 943 Lois Place in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police Thursday on charges of drug trafficking and unlawful use of a weapon.
David G. Outlaw: 19, of 7037 S. Maplewood Ave. in Chicago, was arrested by Joliet Junior College police Thursday on charges of delivery of marijuana and underage liquor possession.
Robert J. Cavallo: 42, of 1142 Trinity Drive in Addison, was arrested by sheriff’s police Thursday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Jose L. Martinez: 47, of 5331 Addison Ave. in Chicago, was arrested by sheriff’s police Thursday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Gina M. Greene: 27, of 373 Western Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police Thursday on a charge of forgery.
Samantha R. Hoffman: 21, of 8745 W. Stuenkel Road in Frankfort, was arrested by Frankfort police Thursday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Lizeaux D. Davis: 22, of 416 Madeline St. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police Thursday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.
Angel L. Marcano: 31, of 201 Riverview Ave. in Lockport, was arrested Friday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Jeremy J. Moffett: 28, of 505 Florence Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Crest Hill police Friday on charges of drug possession and marijuana possession.
