The Rialto Square Theatre is hosting an online auction to benefit its major endowment fund, according to a press release.
The auction started last Thursday and runs through this Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11:59 p.m.
“Every year the artists that grace our stage lend a hand in keeping the arts alive and well in Joliet by autographing memorabilia for their greatest fans,” Bobbi Burgstone, Director of Development at the Rialto Square Theatre, said in the release. “This is your chance to own one of these precious keepsakes while supporting the Rialto Square Theatre. The major endowment can provide an important foundation, for many years to come, in our efforts to bring the finest entertainment to the Rialto. This is an exciting and fun way to help us, and at the same time have a chance to acquire some of the coolest items ever.”
Some of the items up for auction include autographed guitars from George Jones, Glen Campbell, Buddy Guy, Little Big Town, Johnny Lang, John Hiatt, Lyle Lovett, Trace Adkins, Vince Gill and Justin Moore, the release said. Other items include autographed microphones from Cheech & Chong and Lisa Lampanelli, an autographed harmonica from Jim Belushi and a director’s chair from Carol Burnett.
