Thursday deadline

Senior luncheon: July 13, Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 W. Eames St., Channahon. A nondenominational catered lunch for resident 60 and older will be served every second Wednesday of the month. Cost is $2. Includes free blood pressure checks provided by Channahon Fire Department. July Triad Committee topic will be Channahon Lions Club — sight, hearing and lending closet. Sponsored by Senior Services Center of Will County and coordinated by Channahon Township. Friday and Saturday

Rummage sale: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Minooka United Methodist Church, Massasoit and Church streets in Minooka. Clothing, toys, games, home decor, costume jewelry, lawn and garden items, seasonal decorations, books, collectibles, tools and treasures of all kinds.

July 14 deadline

Kids garage sale: Register for this annual sale that will be 9 a.m. to noon July 16 at the Heritage Crossing Field House, 24935 W. Sioux Drive in Channahon. Price items before the sale and bring your own tables. The event is for kids in grades 1-8. Set-up begins at 7 a.m.. The cost for a 10-by-10-inch space is $2 for residents and $3 for nonresidents. The sale is open to the public. Registration is required by July 14. Registration forms are available at www.channahonpark.org. Drop them off or mail them to Arrowhead Community Center, 24856 W.
