Silver Cross adds 11 new physicians

JOLIET — New doctors have joined the staff at Silver Cross Hospital.
Dr. Sohal Patel: board-certified neurology physician, attended medical school at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. He completed a neurology residency at Rush University Department of Neurological Sciences in Chicago. His office is with Center for Neurological Diseases, 2222 Weber Road, Crest Hill, 815-741-9719.
Dr. Nidal Sakka: board-certified pulmonary medicine physician, completed an internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, N.Y., and a pulmonology/sleep medicine fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Sharad Salvi: board-certified pediatric hematology/oncology physician, completed a pediatrics residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, and a pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, N.Y. Dr. Wasif Shirazi: board-certified hematology/oncology physician, attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Urbana. He completed an internal medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Rush Cancer Institute. Dr. George Sreckovic: board-certified urology physician, attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Lindsay Uzunlar: board-certified pediatrics physician, attended medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis.
