A 43-year-old man who lives near Lemont is accused of sexually abusing a woman when she was 14.

Greg A. Voegtlin faces four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, Will County court records show. A warrant was issued for his arrest after the charges were filed Thursday, but Voegtlin was not in custody as of Friday morning. His bail was set at $40,000.

The alleged victim, a woman who lives in an unincorporated are near Lemont, reported her abuse to police because she believes there might be other victims.

Reports said the sexual contact began in May 2003, when the victim was 14 years old, and continued through September 2007.

Voegtlin is charged with abuse that occurred in May and July 2003, a state’s attorney’s spokesman said, and attempted abuse between September and November 2005.
