Fox Valley schools ready to open for new year

School bells are being tuned up to ring in the new 2012-13 school year.
Students in the West Aurora and Yorkville school districts will be getting a bit of a headstart on their peers around the Fox Valley, with both districts starting classes this week.
Most of the other districts in the area resume classes next week, while East Aurora schools will not be in session for another two weeks.
Here is a listing of start dates for schools around the Fox Valley:
West Aurora School District: Wednesday
Yorkville School District: Thursday
Aurora Christian Preschool-9th grade: Aug. 20
Newark High School: Aug. 20
Plano School District: Aug. 20
Somonauk School District: Aug. 21
Aurora Christian grades 10-12: Aug. 21
Rosary High School: Aug. 21
Batavia School District: Aug. 21
Oswego School District: Aug. 22
St. Charles School District: Aug. 22
Marmion Academy: Aug. 22
Kaneland School District: Aug. 22
Hinckley-Big Rock School District: Aug. 22
Indian Prairie School District: Aug. 23
Aurora Central Catholic: Aug. 23
Sandwich School District: Aug. 24
East Aurora School District: Aug. 27
