OpenLine: Politicians all love the rich

So an OpenLine contributor bashes Republican politicians saying they are in bed with the rich. She readily ignores Obama’s love affair with George Soros, Warren Buffett and the Hollywood gang. She also forgets Obama’s attachment to super PAC and its fund-raising with his Wall Street friends.

Emergency alarms gone
I have great concerns about all the alarms that were taken off telephone poles in the area. I can name off six of them that are now minus the alarms. This is for storms or nuclear plant warnings.

Taxpayer is the backbone
I’m happy to see most of you got the point of government creating jobs. Apparently, one caller may have missed the point that the taxpayer creates almost every job. They pay for the guy that builds the road the taxpayer drives on with his vehicle. The road builder buys his vehicle with the money that trickled down to him from everyone’s taxes. Much research and development is taxpayer-financed and produces millions of private sector jobs. Without the taxpayer being the basis and backbone of the economy, few of us would have a job. Yes, House Speaker Boehner is spending way too much of our money on unnecessary things.
