Son of Mitt in Joliet?

“I’ve got five boys. I’m used to people saying something that’s not always true, but just keep repeating it and ultimately hoping I’ll believe it,” is a Mitt Romney quote from the first presidential debate.

It appears Gary Bishop is one of Mitt’s sons concerning his OpenLine comment about the Antarctic (“Climate change agenda,” Oct. 7). Adding Kool-Aid to the oceans won’t keep the ice from melting. I just wonder what energy stocks Mr. Bishop owns.

A genuine cliffhanger

Some people may say Mitt Romney won the first debate because of his feistiness. In my opinion, if you know what two plus two equals, President Obama won the debate hands down. Almost everything Romney said about the economy didn’t add up to four.

President Obama may have been a little less feisty, but everything he said had the substance, continuing to get us back on track to continue to be the great country that we are. President Obama has done a wonderful job of keeping us from falling off of a financial cliff four years ago and he deserves another term to finish what he has begun.
