We will all pay
Regarding Obamacare (HR3200) Which of these provisions are acceptable to you? Page 50-section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-residents, even if they are here illegally. Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual’s bank account and will have authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts. Page 65-section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizers. (However, the government’s stand is that religious institutions, businesses and the consciences of people are inferior to the government’s interest.) Continuing with the “bill.”
Page 203-line 14 and 15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty and the government will set all doctor’s fees. Page 272-section 1145: Cancer hospitals will ration care.
Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion. Page 425, line 4-12: Those on Social
Security will be required to attend an “end-of-life planning” seminar every five years. Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.
One way or another we will all pay for the destruction of our American liberties. My hope is that we all value the liberties our military has fought and died for, and that we will vote our values on Nov. 6.
Defy the machine
Many Southwest Cook and Will County residents have no idea their congressional district boundaries have changed and that they are now in the new First Congressional District. They also may not realize their representative is Bobby Rush, an 11-term incumbent with one of the worst voting-attendance records in Congress.
Don’t give in to the same old machine-style politics. We have the opportunity to elect someone who will represent all in this immense district, which stretches from 26th Street and the Lake to Elwood in Will County. We need to elect Donald Peloquin, a new voice for this new district. Don is an experienced public servant who will make sure the issues and concerns of our suburban area will be heard in Washington, D.C.
Peloquin has the skills and expertise to work successfully with all peoples across all government and party lines. He has exceptional ideas on stimulating the local economy and creating jobs, reclaiming wasted industrial space utilizing green technology, and developing a cargo transportation hub. Peloquin was endorsed by the Chicago Tribune, which cited Bobby Rush’s abysmal missed-vote record and lack of attention to suburban concerns.
Don’t sit back and let Machine politics dictate your future. On Nov. 6, vote for an ethical man who is devoted to bringing government back to serving the people. Vote for Donald E. Peloquin for Congress in the 1st District.
