Protecting the people
The purpose of a business is to make money. While some employers seem concerned about the welfare of their workers, most pay the lowest wages and offer the fewest benefits possible to maximize their profits.
The purpose of the Federal Government is to support, serve and protect the people. If a president has a businessman’s mentality, he will lower taxes on the wealthy and work against laws, that in any way, restrict business practices.
He will also attempt to limit or eliminate programs that benefit the average person. These actions, while appropriate in business, neither respect nor uphold the responsibilities of the Federal Government.
