Playing for the first time since a Dec. 14 game against Neuqua Valley, Bolingbrook took the court Monday at the 39th McDipper Tournament and hit the ground running. The Raiders scored three baskets in less than 90 seconds against Marian Catholic to go up 7-0. The pole vaulting history in Luke Winder’s family goes beyond his brothers and father. “My grandpa used to pole vault for fun with a piece of bamboo,’’ Winder said. Luke Winder has showed he could make pole vault history of his own. The Plainfield Central junior cleared 16 feet in a triangular home meet this season. It was the best mark of the outdoor season. Lincoln-Way West beat Oak Forest 2,817-2,541 in the three-game dual, but both coaches were much happier than when the teams shared lanes Dec. 3 in the Bengal Bowling Invite.
