Carnagio, a junior third baseman, was named Most Valuable Player while helping the Indians to the WJOL Tournament championship.

What’s been your most glorious athletic moment?

Making it to California to play in the Pony League World Series.

What’s been the most embarrassing?

Almost crying every time I made an out when I was younger.

What has being named the MVP of the WJOL invite meant?

Of course it means a lot, but as a team there are other things that will mean a lot more to us if we keep having success.

What part of your game do you need to work on the most?

My defensive mechanics and being more (fluid) when fielding a ground ball.

What’s a key for the Indians the rest of the season?

Staying consistent and playing at the level we are capable of the rest of the season.

What’s your goal during the 2012 season?

To keep improving individually but most important, as a team.

What’s your favorite pig-out food?

Fritos Scoops, queso and salsa.

Nobody knows ...

I wear my Papa’s dog tag every single day.

What’s on your iPod?

Everything. Rap, country, hip-hop, oldies.

What is your favorite movie and why?

“Step Brothers,” because the more you watch it, the funnier it gets.

As told to Dennis Nelson
