Foltz, a 6-foot, 220-pound junior catcher/pitcher, leads the Raiders with a .429 average, 24 hits and 16 RBI.

What has been your most glorious athletic moment?

Winning the Class 8A state football championship in the fall.

What has been the most embarrassing?

I was going after a pop up, playing third base, and I ran into the fence and flipped over it.

What has been the key to your strong start this season?

It would be all of the work in I put in during the offseason.

What part of your game do you need to work on the most?

I have to work on catching and blocking every single pitch that is thrown to me, no matter where it is.

What is a key for the Raiders the rest of the season?

What we need to do to be successful the rest of the season would be to keep playing the game we know how to play: intense, fundamental baseball.

What is your favorite pig-out food?

Buffalo Wild Wings.

Who are your favorite athletes?

Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton and Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer.

Nobody knows …

I wear the same boxers every game. Clean, of course.

What is on your iPod?

I have Mac Miller, Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi. I love music.

What is your favorite movie?

“Step Brothers,” because I can watch it a million times and still laugh. I have memorized that whole movie.
