2. Joliet Catholic (29-8-1): Potent Hilltoppers offense stymied in 3-0 sectional semifinal loss to Lincoln-Way West.
3. Plainfield North (33-5): Tigers season ends in 4-3 sectional final loss to Naperville Central.
4. Minooka (24-13): Indians headed to Class 4A state semifinals at Silver Cross Field.
5. Lincoln-Way West (24-14): Warriors lose sectional final, but finish among top 16 teams in Class 3A.
6. Lockport (24-13): Advanced to regional final before losing 4-0 to talented Lincoln-Way North.
7. Plainfield Central (23-13-1): Program pointed in right direction after first 20-win season since 1999.
8. Joliet West (20-15): Pushed Plainfield South to the limit in 3-2 regional semifinal loss, which ended Tigers’ season.
9. Lemont (23-10): Indians couldn’t hold seventh-inning lead during 3-2 loss to Lincoln-Way West in regional final.
10. Lincoln-Way East (21-13): Season ended in 10-2 regional final loss to Providence.
