Football

No. 5 Lemont 40, Eisenhower 0: Zach Brosseau was 9-of-9 passing for 205 yards and four touchdowns to power visiting Lemont (3-0) in the South Suburban crossover. The scoring throws included a 59-yarder to Ethan Chester and a 45-yarder to Joe Hehir.

No. 6 Morris 43, Geneseo 0: Reese Sobol had scoring runs of 16 and 64 yards for host Morris (3-0). Zach Cinnamon threw for one touchdown and ran for another to aid the Redskins.

No. 8 Coal City 9, Manteno 6: Nate Natyshok’s 11-yard touchdown run sparked visiting Coal City (3-0, 1-0) in the Interstate Eight Large.

No. 9 Wilmington 41, Westmont 0: Chris Tworek had 13 carries for 124 yards and two touchdowns to lead visiting Wilmington (2-1, 1-0) in the Interstate Eight Small.

Peotone 34, Herscher 13: Quarterback Jace Cowger ran for two touchdowns to lift visiting Peotone (3-0, 1-0) in the Interstate Eight Large.

Lincoln-Way West 49, Thornridge 14: Nick Dangles had 14 carries for 178 yards and two touchdowns (5, 26 yards) in powering host Lincoln-Way West (2-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Reed-Custer 26, Dwight 0: Quarterback Mark Harper threw for one touchdown and ran for another to lead visiting Reed-Custer (1-2, 1-0) in the Interstate Eight Small. Dwight fell to 0-3, 0-1.

Seneca 14, Lisle 13: Logan Pifer’s 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was the difference for visiting Seneca (1-2, 1-0) in the Interstate Eight Small.

Boys Soccer

Lemont 1, Argo 0: Tommy Gasienica scored off an assist from Lukasz Sulka to guide visiting Lemont (6-1-1, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover.

Bolingbrook Shootout

Minooka 2, Solorio 1: Goals by Sergio Reyes and Mo Esquivel sparked Minooka (4-3-1).

Plainfield East 1, Bolingbrook 1: Luis Loya’s goal enabled Bolingbrook (1-4-2) to garner a tie. Ryan Olans scored for Plainfield East (2-1-4).

Girls Golf

Lincoln-Way East 170, Joliet Township co-op 201: Medalist Kelly Sterling shot a 1-over-par 37 to pace Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Inwood.

Women’s Soccer

Joliet Junior College 4, Triton 0: Britney Lenza netted two goals for visiting Joliet Junior College (4-0, 3-0) in the Region IV match.
