Marist 2, Providence 0: Tim Carroll and Matt Poncer scored for Marist (7-2-1) in New Lenox. Providence fell to 6-3-1.
Girls Volleyball
No. 5 Providence 25-25, Mount Assisi 19-10: Maggie Turk had nine assists and Alyssa Maloney added six kills to spark visiting Providence (7-2).
No. 10 Joliet Central 25-10, 25-12: Emily Malone dished out 15 assists and Kelsey Frain had six kills to lead visiting Joliet Central (10-4).
Boys Golf
Dwight co-op 182, Woodland 200: Medalist Kiefer Kious shot a 39 to lead Dwight co-op at Dwight Country Club.
Plainfield Central 167, Plainfield East 174: Mitch Young, of Plainfield Central, led all golfers with a 37 in the Southwest Prairie dual at Mistwood.

Lincoln-Way East 155, Sandburg 177: Lincoln-Way East’s Kelly Sterling was the medalist with a 34 in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Green Garden.
Providence 163, Minooka 193: Maggie Corso, of Providence, shot a 3-over 37 to win medalist honors at Woodruff.
Joliet Township co-op 199, Bolingbrook 238: Co-medalists Milena Singletary and Tori Tabor carded 48s to lead Joliet Township co-op in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Inwood.
Lemont 182, Riverside-Brookfield 275: Lemont’s Bridget Lynn was the medalist with a 41 at Fresh Meadows in Countryside.
Lockport 206, Homewood-Flossmoor 229: Medalist Kayla Garritson posted a 47 in leading Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Broken Arrow.
Women’s Soccer
Joliet Junior College 2, Moraine Valley 0: Eli Mireles scored twice and Lauren Fowler (2nd shutout) made 17 saves to guide visiting Joliet Junior College (5-0).
