Taylor Nirchi, of Lincoln-Way East, is this week’s Herald-News Girls Volleyball Player of the Week.
In East’s 25-11, 25-20 home win over Andrew in a SouthWest Suburban crossover, Nirchi, a junior setter, finished with 12 assists, 12 service points and six service aces. Nirchi also dished out 15 assists in East’s two-set win over Downers Grove North.
