Hill, a senior outside hitter for the Raiders, is undecided on her college choice.

Do you have a dream school?

I’d love to play for University of Illinois because it’s close and it is in the Big Ten. Still keeping my options open. Hopefully, I can get it done and make my choice before the season is over.

Goals for your senior season?

I want to be more of a vocal leader and not just a physical leader. For a team goal, we want our record to be over .500.

How did you get into volleyball?

In sixth-grade tryouts, my best friend didn’t make the team so I was going to quit, but I decided to stick with it.

What’s something fans don’t know about volleyball?

It’s hard. People think it looks so easy, but it’s really hard.

You’re on a deserted island and can never run out of one food. What do you pick?

R. Grotto’s Pizza in Ottawa. Best pizza ever, deep dish pepperoni.

Who’s your celebrity prom date?

Probably say, I don’t know his name, but he plays Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

If you could have one rival player on your team, who would you pick?

West Aurora’s Lauren Carlini (the No. 1 senior recruit in the country). She’s a great setter.

What is your favorite sports movie?

“Remember the Titans”. I watched it so many times as a kid and I fell in love with it.

What will you remember most about Bolingbrook?

Probably the football team. Winning state last year was a big part of it.

As told to Tim O’Brien
