Girls Volleyball
No. 6 Lemont 25-20-26, T.F. South 20-25-24: Kiley Rendak slammed 13 kills and Megan Litoborski dished out 24 assists to guide visiting Lemont (14-5, 6-1) in the South Suburban Blue.
Boys Soccer
Marist 3, Joliet Catholic 1: Goals by Mike Trevino, Al Meyer and Brandon Rizzo propelled visiting Marist (9-4-2, 1-1-1) in the East Suburban Catholic. Joliet Catholic fell to 2-9, 0-5.
St. Charles East Tournament
Plainfield Central 1, Glenbard North 0: Miguel Sanchez scored for Plainfield Central (5-6-1).
Boys Golf
Lincoln-Way Central 149, Lockport 172: Lincoln-Way Central’s Kyle Tebelman was the medalist with a 1-under-par 35 at The Sanctuary. Bryant Bolden tacked on a 36 for the Knights in the SouthWest Suburban crossover. Luke Trent paced Lockport with a 40.
Girls Golf
Lincoln-Way East 159, Homewood-Flossmoor 204: Lincoln-Way East’s Hannah Petraitis paced all golfers with a 38 in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet. Kelly Sterling added a 39 for the Griffins at Green Garden’s Blue Course.
Stagg 198, Lincoln-Way Central 208: Stagg’s Taylor Lambertsen (43) was the medalist in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Silver Lake’s Rolling Hills Course in Orland Park.
Providence triangular: Maggie Corso shot a 43 in leading Providence (180) over Marian Catholic (192) and Fenwick (202) in the East Suburban Catholic meet at Woodruff.
Girls Tennis
Lincoln-Way West 5, Oak Forest 1: Sam Sayre won at top-seeded singles for host Lincoln-Way West.
Providence 6, Plainfield Central 0: Maggie Ruane (No. 2 singles) was among the winners for Providence in New Lenox.
