Girls Volleyball
No. 1 Joliet Catholic 25-25, Carmel 23-23: Mallory Mangum had 15 assists and eight blocks to pace host Joliet Catholic (11-1, 2-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Morgan Reardon tacked on 10 kills for the Angels.
No. 3 Lincoln-Way East 25-16-25, Bradley 20-25-18: Sara Buchbach finished with 10 digs, nine service points and six kills for visiting Lincoln-Way East (12-0) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
No. 4 Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Thornwood 17-12: Kaitlyn Siadek (14 assists) and Maria Brown (7 kills, 6 digs) propelled visiting Lincoln-Way Central (9-3) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Sycamore 25-25, No. 7 Morris 17-18: Laney Torkelson had eight kills and Katie Chatten added 14 assists for visiting Morris (11-5, 2-2) in the Northern Illinois Big 12 East.
Bolingbrook 25-25, No. 8 Lincoln-Way West 14-17: Bolingbrook posted the SouthWest Suburban crossover victory in New Lenox. Lincoln-Way West fell to 15-7.
No. 9 Minooka 25-25, Romeoville 21-13: Skyler Day (8 kills, 8 digs) and Kasey Schumacher (9 digs) led Minooka (8-5, 4-2) in the Southwest Prairie.
No. 10 Joliet Central 25-25, Thornton 8-9: T’ara Austin totaled eight kills and nine digs for visiting Joliet Central (12-5) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Plainfield Central 25-27, Plainfield East 18-25: Hannah Evatt had 16 assists and Elizabeth Hyland added nine kills to lead host Plainfield Central (5-12, 3-3) in the Southwest Prairie.
Boys Soccer
Lemont 3, Oak Lawn 0: Eric Whatley contributed a goal and two assists for visiting Lemont (11-1-2, 6-0) in the South Suburban crossover.
Minooka 1, Plainfield East 0: Mo Esquivel’s 15th goal was the difference for visiting Minooka (8-5-1) in the Southwest Prairie.
Sandburg 4, Lincoln-Way Central 1: C.J. Zuraitis had the goal for host Lincoln-Way Central (6-5) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Lincoln-Way East 1, Lincoln-Way West 0: Sean Sibley scored for visiting Lincoln-Way East (6-2-4) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
St. Charles East Tournament
Plainfield Central 3, Elgin 0: Mo Rashid, Dan Rosenbaum and Miguel Sanchez each contributed a goal and an assist for Plainfield Central (6-6-1).
Boys Golf
Lincoln-Way Central 171, Stagg 191: Lincoln-Way Central’s Luke Bannerman (41) was the medalist in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Palos Country Club.
Lincoln-Way East quadrangular: Matt Stoner and Dan Olivieri carded 35s as Lincoln-Way East (142) bested Joliet Township co-op (147), Sandburg (148) and Homewood-Flossmoor (157) at Green Garden’s Emerald Course. Joliet Township co-op’s Trent Wallace (3-under-par 33) was the medalist in the SouthWest Suburban meet.
Girls Golf
Lincoln-Way West triangular: Medalist Alexis Biedrzycki (38) guided Lincoln-Way West (195) past Bradley (219) and Andrew (233) in the SouthWest Suburban meet at The Sanctuary.
Girls Tennis
Lemont 5, T.F. North 0: Natalia Jezyk and Sam Drafke won at No. 2 doubles for host Lemont in the South Suburban Blue.
Lincoln-Way West 6, Thornwood co-op 0: Katie Kaczmarz prevailed at No. 2 singles for host Lincoln-Way West in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
Girls Swimming
Lemont 135, Eisenhower 34: Erin Bendle won the 100-yard breaststroke (1 minute, 18.02 seconds) for host Lemont in the South Suburban crossover.
Women’s Volleyball
St. Francis 25-25-25, Purdue-North Central 8-13-8: Laura Wills had nine kills and Breanne Shaw added 16 digs to lead host St. Francis (13-2, 4-0) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
