Marian Barton of Reed-Custer is this week’s Herald-News Girls Volleyball Player of the Week.
Helping the Lady Comets beat rival Coal City, Barton had 10 kills, seven digs and five service aces, including a string of three in a row to win the first set.
The senior outside hitter had 47 kills, 10 aces, 27 digs and five blocks during the week as Reed-Custer went 3-1-2.
