No. 6 Morris 13, Sycamore 0: Zach Cinnamon’s 16-yard touchdown scamper aided visiting Morris (6-0, 2-0) in the Northern Illinois Big 12 East.
No. 8 Wilmington 24, Lisle 0: Sean Liaromatis threw touchdown passes to Mike Wolfe (6 yards) and Dan O’Leary (23) in sparking visiting Wilmington (5-1, 4-0) in the Interstate Eight Small. Wolfe also gained 112 yards on 14 carries.
Plainfield Central 42, Oswego East 40: Mike Smiles (7-of-10, 137 yards) threw a pair of scoring passes to Dane Moscatelli in guiding visiting Plainfield Central (4-2, 2-2) in the Southwest Prairie. Jordan Ellingwood (27 carries) added 180 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Wildcats.
Sandwich 42, Peotone 7: Jake Rapson contributed a 2-yard touchdown run for host Peotone (3-3, 1-3) in the Interstate Eight Large.
Seneca 20, Reed-Custer 0: Bo Taylor scored all three touchdowns for visiting Seneca (3-3, 3-1) in the Interstate Eight Small. Reed-Custer dropped to 1-5, 1-3.
Westmont 7, Dwight 6: Host Dwight (0-6, 0-4) came up short in the Interstate Eight Small.
Girls Volleyball
No. 4 Providence 25-25, Queen of Peace 16-6: Krista Brakauskas contributed 12 assists and six kills for host Providence (18-6).
