Boys Soccer
Plainfield East 7, Joliet West 0: Ryan Olans contributed three goals and an assist for host Plainfield East (8-4-4). Mike Brazinski added two goals for the Bengals.
Minooka 4, Providence 3: Mo Esquivel netted a pair of goals to spark visiting Minooka (10-7-1). Ben Salvador notched two goals and an assist for Providence (8-8-3).
Girls Volleyball
No. 1 Joliet Catholic 25-25, Hinsdale Central 20-17: Katelyn Seeman recorded five kills and seven blocks to aid visiting Joliet Catholic (18-2). Mallory Mangun tacked on 16 assists for the Angels.
Coal City 25-15-25, Clifton Central 19-25-15: Emily Halliday had 15 kills and Kassie Aldridge dished out 14 assists to lead host Coal City (11-9).
Girls Golf
Joliet Catholic 199, Plainfield South 209: Plainfield South’s Alex Catalano shot a 47 in winning medalist honors at Wedgewood. Claire O’Connor and Maddy Troha carded 48s for Joliet Catholic.
Girls Tennis
Lockport 7, Plainfield Central 0: Kelsey Forkin and Judy Stanford won at No. 1 doubles for host Lockport.
Men’s Golf
NCAA Midwest Regional #1: Lewis (599) finished ninth at Brightondale Golf Course in Kansasville, Wis. The Flyers were led by Harrison Carmichael, who was 17th after posting a two-day total of 147.
