Litoborski, a senior setter for the Indians, is undecided on where she will play in college. She’s among the area leaders with 400 assists.
Any pressure as the defending South Suburban Blue champs?
Yes, we know we’re at the top of the conference so we need to keep that up. Coach (Chris) Zogata definitely wants us to win conference again so there is some pressure. We have fun together, and we’re a little younger team this year so it will definitely be fun.
What’s your reaction to being a two-time captain?
Being captain this year and last year, it’s really nice and definitely with the underclassmen. Helping them, making sure they talk a lot, I want to be a leader this year.
What would you improve about your game?
Making sure I watch the other side of the net and seeing what the opponent is doing, especially for dump (kills). Noticing patterns and being more aware.
What reality show would you like to be on?
Even though I can’t sing, “American Idol”. I think it’d be fun.
Favorite sports movie?
I don’t know if it counts, but “She’s The Man” with Amanda Bynes. It’s a fun movie.
Who is your celebrity prom date?
Zac Efron.
If you were on a deserted island with one food you could never run out of, what would you pick?
Pizza, maybe Olive Garden.
What will you remember most about Lemont?
Since it’s a smaller school, I feel like I knew a lot of people in my grade and got close with a lot of people. Just a lot of fun times like Spirit Week, the Homecoming assemblies, the little stuff.
As told to Tim O’Brien
