Kurt Palandech, of Plainfield North, is this week’s Herald-News Football Player of the Week.
Palandech, a quarterback, put up impressive offensive numbers in Plainfield North’s 48-14 victory over Oswego East. Palandech had eight carries for 181 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns, and threw for 46 yards and a touchdown on 4-of-6 passing. On defense, he intercepted a pass.
