Girls Volleyball
Class 3A Morris Regional
No. 1 Joliet Catholic 25-25, No. 8 Morris 20-13: Morgan Reardon (7 kills), Mallory Mangun (15 assists, 9 digs) and Julia Shemaitis (6 kills) led Joliet Catholic (30-6) in the semifinal. Marcella Toups and Laney Torkelson had three kills apiece for Morris (21-15).
Class 3A Reed-Custer Regional: Both area teams were defeated in semifinal play. Peotone lost 26-24, 25-22 to Herscher, while Reed-Custer fell to Manteno 25-15, 25-13.
Class 4A Eisenhower Regional
No. 5 Lincoln-Way East 25-25, Richards 12-13: Kayla Currier had 10 kills for Lincoln-Way East (25-11) in the semifinal.
Class 4A Joliet West Regional: No. 9 Minooka (22-11) prevailed in the semifinal, topping Joliet Central 25-11, 25-20. The Steelmen finished 19-16.
Class 4A Lincoln-Way North Regional
No. 2 Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Lincoln-Way North 13-15: Kaitlyn Siadek posted 23 assists and five kills to put Lincoln-Way Central (28-8) into the championship.
Class 4A Plainfield North Regional: Plainfield North outlasted Oswego 21-25, 25-8, 25-12 in the first semifinal. Plainfield East dropped a 25-17, 25-22 decision in the second match.
Class 4A Romeoville Regional
No. 4 Lockport 25-25, Romeoville 22-18: Kayla Pfeiffer had 11 kills, 11 assists and eight digs to pace Lockport (25-10) in the semifinal.
No. 6 Lemont 25-18-25, Plainfield Central 20-25-10: Megan Litoborski dished out 22 assists and Kelly Ferguson added 10 kills for Lemont (24-12) in the semifinal. Plainfield Central finished 14-23.
Class 2A Amboy Regional: Seneca advanced to the championship after sweeping Somonauk 25-18, 25-21.
Class 2A Beecher Regional: Wilmington came up short in the semifinal, losing 21-25, 25-15, 25-18 to Bishop McNamara.
Class 2A Watseka Regional: Dwight topped Clifton Central 26-24, 25-18 in the semifinal.
Class 1A Gardner-South Wilmington Regional: Gardner-South Wilmington fell to Illinois Lutheran 25-20, 21-25, 25-23 in semifinal play.

Class 2A Peoria Notre Dame Sectional
Morton 2, Morris 0: Morris (10-10-1) was beaten in the semifinal.
Class 3A O’Fallon Sectional
Romeoville 2, Normal Community 1: Romeoville (14-5-2) prevailed in the semifinal at Joliet West.
