Wire-to-wire No. 1 team. Angels give state-bound Wheaton St. Francis all it can handle. Watch out for outside hitter Shemaitis in 2013.
2. Lincoln-Way Central (29-9)
Disappointing match in sectional semis, but Knights manage program-best 29 wins in impressive season. Difficult senior class (Dolan, Siadek, Commet) to replace.
3. Lemont (26-13)
No shame in loss to defending champ and 4A favorite Benet. Strong group expected back, but Litoborski, Rendak will be missed.
4. Plainfield North (29-9)
Watch out for the Tigers in 2013 as Federico, Lindroth expected to lead deep returning core.
5. Minooka (23-12)
Indians come up short in sectional semis, but the future is bright with Day, Clucas and deep bench supposed to be back.
6. Providence (25-12)
