Andrew Tournament
Andrew 48, Joliet West 29: Tay Wright scored a team-high 10 points for Joliet West (1-1) in the second round.
Beecher Tournament
Coal City 57, Bremen 23: Donjeta Shabani provided 19 points and six rebounds for Coal City (1-0). Emily Halliday added 14 points for the Coalers and Nicole Borgetti had 12.
Peotone 53, St. Anne 29: Brittney Campione had 17 points to lift Peotone (2-1).
Benet/Naperville Central Tournament
No. 5 Providence 43, North Chicago 28: Maeve Garvey’s nine points aided Providence (1-1) in the first-round game at Benet.
IMSA/Aurora Christian Tournament: Both area teams were defeated in second-round play. Reed-Custer (0-1)fell 96-33 to Rock Island, while Plainfield South (0-2)lost 58-46 to Indian Creek.
Lexington Tournament
Gardner-South Wilmington 32, Deer Creek-Mackinaw 25: Chelsea Schultz had 13 points to power Gardner-South Wilmington (1-3).
Richards Tournament
No. 3 Lincoln-Way East 54, Curie 30: Katie Krolicki and Meaghan McMahon poured in 15 and 14 points, respectively, for Lincoln-Way East (2-1) in the semifinal.
Romeoville Tournament
No. 2 Romeoville 41, Lemont 28: Kiera Currie had 19 points for Romeoville (2-0) in second-round play. Lemont dropped to 1-2.
Lockport 54, Plainfield Central 30: Lockport improved to 1-1. Bailee McDaniel led Plainfield Central (0-2) with 11 points and six rebounds.
Women’s Volleyball
Great Lakes Valley Tournament
Lewis 25-25-25-20-15, Missouri-St. Louis 23-27-14-25-9: Jen Krumwiede had 23 kills and 27 digs to pace Lewis (25-9) in the first-round match in Indianapolis. Leigh Barea recorded 54 assists for the Flyers and Amy Choi added 38 digs.
