Aurora Christian Tournament
Aurora Christian 52, Joliet Catholic 40: Jimmy Elias contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds for Joliet Catholic (0-6).
Knights/Warriors Classic
Lincoln-Way Central 65, Illiana Christian 59: Brad Bass netted 15 points to pace host Lincoln-Way Central (2-2). Kevin Mampe added 13 points for the Knights and Joe Newtoff had 12.
Girls Basketball
Providence 40, Lincoln-Way Central 31: Alyssa Jurges tossed in 18 points to spearhead host Providence (4-4).
Men’s Basketball
Joliet Junior College 66, Robert Morris 63: Courtney Cole’s three-pointer with 33 seconds left was the difference for host Joliet Junior College (12-13, 4-3) in Region IV. Pierre Jolly led the Wolves with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Women’s Volleyball
NAIA National Championships
Westmont (Calif.) 25-25-25, St. Francis 19-18-14: Ashley Richards totaled 25 assists for St. Francis (37-8), which dropped to 0-2 in pool play. Dana Wettergren added 17 digs for the Saints in Sioux City, Iowa.
Women’s Basketball
Purdue-Calumet 79, St. Francis 60: Katie Gonnering scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in leading host St. Francis (3-4, 3-3) in the CCAC. Ashley Teresiak chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds for the Saints.
