Larissa McLemen, of Minooka, is this week’s Herald-News Girls Basketball Player of the Week.
McLemen, a senior forward, had nine points and 13 rebounds in Minooka’s 43-41 win over Oswego East. She followed the effort with 16 points, including the game-winning basket at the buzzer, and six rebounds in the Indians’ 42-40 win over Plainfield North as Minooka improved to 2-0 in the Southwest Prairie Conference.
