Boys Basketball
No. 3 Lemont 72, Oak Lawn 48: Juozas Balciunas totaled 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to pace visiting Lemont (5-0, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Mike Wisz added 20 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Indians.
Riverside-Brookfield 62, No. 4 Providence 51: Kevin Kozan (16 points) and Miles Boykin (13) were the leading scorers for visiting Providence (4-2).
Rich Central 57, No. 5 Joliet Central 52: Jonah Coble had 13 points to lead visiting Joliet Central (4-3).
No. 6 Lincoln-Way East 49, Romeoville 29: Chris DeRubertis provided 13 points for visiting Lincoln-Way East (4-1). Romeoville fell to 1-6.
No. 10 Seneca 50, Peotone 41: Host Seneca (6-0, 2-0) prevailed in the Interstate Eight. Andrew Marganski had 17 points for Peotone (5-2, 0-2).
Plainfield South 54, Willowbrook 53: Miles Snowden (16 points) made two free throws with two-tenths of a second remaining to pace host Plainfield South (1-5). Corey Evers also totaled 16 points for the Cougars.
Wilmington 54, Coal City 50: Dan O’Leary notched 20 points to propel host Wilmington (5-1, 2-0) in the Interstate Eight.
Manteno 53, Dwight 32: Blake Huseman rang up 11 points to lead visiting Dwight in the Interstate Eight.
Girls Basketball
Benet 61, No. 7 Plainfield North 45: Carlie Corrigan had 21 points to lead host Plainfield North (4-2). Kaitlyn O’Boye chipped in 17 points for the Tigers.
Marist 61, No. 8 Lockport 31: Naomi Mayes had 13 points and Anna Novak added 10 for Lockport (3-2).
Oak Lawn 69, Lemont 52: Courtney Toth scored 13 points and Kelsey Motto added 12 for host Lemont (4-4, 1-1) in the South Suburban crossover.
Boys Bowling
Oswego 3,270, Romeoville 3,091: Dakota Vostry’s three-game series of 678 paced Romeoville in the Southwest Prairie meet at Parkside Lanes in Aurora. Jacob Young added a 278 game and 676 series for the Spartans.
Joliet West 2,006, Lincoln-Way Central 1,773: Mickey Shanahan rolled a 232 game and 457 series over two games to lead Joliet West at Laraway Lanes. Lincoln-Way Central’s Ryan Fremgen had the top series (468) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Andrew 2,168, Lincoln-Way East 1,800: Brandon Nice had a 420 series to pace Lincoln-Way East in the Southwest Suburban crossover at Orland Bowl.
Richards 1,743, Lemont 1,651: Ben Stech, of Lemont, had the best game (216) and series (391) in the South Suburban crossover at Arena Bowl in Oak Lawn.
Girls Bowling
Plainfield Central 2,515, Plainfield North 2,494: Plainfield North’s Emily Batara led all competitors with a three-game series of 594 at Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville. Amy Miklosh had a 553 series for Plainfield Central.
Lockport 1,879, Lincoln-Way West 1,793: Nicole Troha’s 254 game and 420 series over two games keyed Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Laraway Lanes.
Lincoln-Way Central 1,648, Bolingbrook 1,571: Jamie Sexauer provided a 361 series for Lincoln-Way Central in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Laraway Lanes. Bolingbrook’s Annemarie Schwahn led all competitors with a 225 game and 369 series.
Lincoln-Way North 1,590, Lincoln-Way East 1,549: Lincoln-Way East’s Melissa Scobel racked up the best game (207) and series (385) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Tinley Park Bowl.
Lemont 1,799, Hillcrest 1,467: Lizzy Melvin had a 215 game and 420 series for Lemont in the South Suburban Blue meet at Strike N Spare II.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 63, Reed-Custer 12: Tony Tatroe (220 pounds) registered a pin for visiting Reed-Custer.

Andrew 115, Lincoln-Way East 68: Wins by Alex Newell in the 100-yard backstroke (57.92 seconds) and Andy Gramont won the 200 individual medley (2 minutes, 10.78 seconds) aided visiting Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Lemont 130, Eisenhower 36: Joe Ziebell won the 100 breaststroke (1:15.82) for host Lemont in the South Suburban crossover.
Joliet Central co-op 96, Morris co-op 72: Host Joliet Central co-op prevailed in the nonconference meet.
