Girls Basketball
No. 4 Lincoln-Way East 53, Joliet Central 32: Claire McMahon netted 18 points and Dana O’Grady scored 10 to pace host Lincoln-Way East (5-1, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Bernasia Fox led Joliet Central (2-6, 0-1) with 17 points.
Plano 45, No. 5 Coal City 42: Nicole Borgetti notched a team-high 20 points to lead host Coal City (6-2, 2-1) in the Interstate Eight.
No. 6 Joliet Catholic 61, Benet 51: Nicole Ekhomu chalked up 22 points and Jasmine Lumpkin scored 21 for host Joliet Catholic (7-1) in its East Suburban Catholic opener.
No. 8 Lockport 44, Sandburg 26: Nora Polaski and Naomi Mayes scored 14 points apiece for host Lockport (4-2, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Lemont 46, Evergreen Park 45: Courtney Toth finished with 17 points and Nicole Krol tacked on 14 to guide visiting Lemont (5-4, 2-1) in the South Suburban crossover.
Homewood-Flossmoor 59, Joliet West 33: Monica Barefield scored a team-leading 12 points for visiting Joliet West (2-4, 0-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Grant Park 55, Gardner-South Wilmington 23: Chelsea Schultz’s 17 points were the most for host Gardner-South Wilmington (4-5, 1-2) in the River Valley.
Boys Bowling
Plainfield Central 3,212, Hinsdale South 3,069: Ray Ciangiola’s 256 game and 716 series over three games guided Plainfield Central at Willowbrook Lanes. Bryan Blair tacked on a 254 game and 657 series for the Wildcats.
Joliet West 2,060, Joliet Central 1,913: Joliet West’s Josh Pesavento registered meet bests with a 243 game and two-game series of 477 at Crest Hill Lanes. Jason Wills had a 235 game and 408 series to lead Joliet Central in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Andrew 1,945, Lincoln-Way Central 1,872: Ryan Fremgen finished with a 219 game and 397 series for Lincoln-Way Central in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Orland Bowl.
Lincoln-Way East 1,925, Bolingbrook 1,900: Josh Jankauskis had a 234 game and 425 series to lead Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Thunder Bowl.
Lincoln-Way West 1,985, Lincoln-Way North 1,917: Lincoln-Way West’s Josh Glover rolled games of 238 and 231 in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Tinley Park Bowl.

Plainfield East 2,709, Plainfield Central 2,695: Plainfield East’s Brittany Jones (235 game) led all bowlers with a three-game series of 604 in the Southwest Prairie meet. Plainfield Central’s Kristine Countryman (599 series) had the top game with a 245 at Pioneer Lanes.
Joliet West 1,854, Andrew 1,706: Julianne Kowalski’s 430 series keyed Joliet West in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Town & Country Lanes.
Lincoln-Way West 1,738, Sandburg 1,727: Katie Nork chalked up a 215 game to aid Lincoln-Way West in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Orland Bowl.
Lemont 1,751, Oak Forest 1,311: Kyra Udziela (203 game) and Nora Collins (377 series) led Lemont in the South Suburban Blue dual at Oak Forest Bowl.
Lincoln-Way East 1,420, Stagg 1,147: Michelle Rybarczyk posted a 326 series to lift Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Thunder Bowl.
Wrestling
Minooka 48, Plainfield South 21: Mike McNulty (138 pounds) and David Newman (heavyweight) won by fall for visiting Minooka in the Southwest Prairie. Miguel Silva (106) had a pin for Plainfield South.
Plainfield Central 47, Plainfield East 15: Dylan Cramer (113) and Dominic Sterr (182) won by pin and technical fall, respectively, for visiting Plainfield Central in the Southwest Prairie.
Reed-Custer triangular: Colin Weis (120) notched two pins as Wilmington defeated Dwight 46-9 and Manteno 50-24 in the Interstate Eight meet.
Boys Swimming
Lincoln-Way North 101, Lincoln-Way East 82: Spencer Smith prevailed in the 50-yard freestyle (22.83 seconds) and 100 freestyle (50.14) for visiting Lincoln-Way East. Andy Gramont added a win in the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 3.99 seconds) for the Griffins in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Lockport triangular: Wins by Dan Oldendorf in the 100 backstroke (57.06) and Jake Knowles in the 200 individual medley (2:05.87) paced Lockport (111) over Andrew (104) and Plainfield co-op (93).
Moraine Valley 62, Joliet Junior College 59: Alana Warren totaled 20 points and six rebounds for host Joliet Junior College (2-7).
