Girls Basketball

No. 1 Bolingbrook 71, Sandburg 37: Aysia Bugg scored a game-high 27 points to lead visiting Bolingbrook (6-2, 2-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

No. 2 Romeoville 60, Plainfield South 36: Angelica Osusky finished with 22 points in boosting visiting Romeoville (8-0, 4-0). Kiera Currie (10 rebounds) and Abby Smith (8 rebounds, 7 steals) added 14 points apiece for the Spartans in the Southwest Prairie. Leslie Hamilton’s 10 points were the most for Plainfield South (2-8, 1-3).

No. 6 Lincoln-Way East 62, Joliet West 30: Meaghan McMahon (8 rebounds) and Dana O’Grady (5 assists) scored 13 points apiece for visiting Lincoln-Way East (6-1, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Joliet West dropped to 2-5, 0-2.

Homewood-Flossmoor 53, Lockport 21: Anna Novak scored seven points for Lockport (4-3, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

No. 10 Lemont 50, Chicago Christian 22: Kelsey Motto’s 13 points keyed host Lemont (6-4).

Lincoln-Way Central 49, Joliet Central 30: Candace Finnin accumulated 16 points to propel visiting Lincoln-Way Central (3-4, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Bernasia Fox and Chantell Mack had seven points apiece for Joliet Central (2-7, 0-2).

Lincoln-Way West 69, Bradley 56: Amanda Hozzian posted 16 points to lead host Lincoln-Way West (4-4, 1-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Peotone 59, Wilmington 13: Kayla Paeth had 14 points for host Peotone (8-4, 3-1) in the Interstate Eight.

Oswego East 72, Plainfield Central 30: Host Plainfield Central (2-8, 0-4) was beaten in the Southwest Prairie.

Iroquois West Tournament

Milford 29, Gardner-South Wilmington 28: Breann Fischer had 11 points to lead Gardner-South Wilmington (5-7).

Boys Basketball

No. 2 Joliet West 61, T.F. South 52: Morris Dunnigan chalked up 18 points to pace visiting Joliet West (6-2).

Rich East 63, No. 8 Providence 59: Kevin Kozan’s 14 points were the most for host Providence (4-4).

Naperville North 68, Plainfield South 55: Alonzo Garrett scored a team-high 20 points for visiting Plainfield South (2-6).

Wilmington 55, Gardner-South Wilmington 46: Dan O’Leary accumulated 23 points to aid host Wilmington (6-1). Hunter Eutsey paced Gardner-South Wilmington with 15 points.

Plainfield North Tournament

Benet 55, No. 9 Plainfield North 35: Kurt Palandech contributed nine points for Plainfield North (4-4) in the first-round game.

Lincoln-Way North 43, Lockport 41: David Robinson scored a game-high 14 points for Lockport (3-5).

Boys Bowling

Romeoville 3,320, Plainfield East 2,824: Brandon Lisak-Talley contributed a 268 game and three-game series of 716 in powering Romeoville in the Southwest Prairie. Jacob Young tacked on a 690 series for the Spartans at Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville. Gervon Miles had a team-best 654 series for Plainfield East.

Plainfield Central 3,123, Oswego East 2,970: Bryan Blair notched a 278 game and 673 series in boosting Plainfield Central in the Southwest Prairie dual at Aurora’s Parkside Lanes.

Minooka 3,254, Plainfield South 2,846: Minooka’s Justin Shepard posted the top game (268) and series (752) in the Southwest Prairie meet at Channahon Lanes.

Joliet West 2,204, Sandburg 1,942: Joliet West’s Kelsey Wilson led all competitors with a 266 game and 504 series over two games in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Town & Country Lanes.

Girls Bowling

Lockport 1,766, Stagg 1,422: Megan Szczepanski (211 game) put together a 405 series over two games to lead Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban crossover at Palos Lanes.

Reavis triangular: Nora Collins rolled a 453 series to guide Lemont (1,919) over Tinley Park (1,692) and Reavis (1,679) in the South Suburban meet at El-Mar Bowl in Bridgeview.

Men’s Basketball

Joliet Junior College 69, Olivet Nazarene 61: Pierre Jolly had 17 points to lead visiting Joliet Junior College.
