Knights/Warriors Winter Classic
No. 1 Lemont 57, Evergreen Park 44: Lemont improved to 8-0 with the victory at Lincoln-Way Central.
Lincoln-Way Central 49, Lincoln-Way West 35: Brad Bass had 14 points and 17 rebounds to lead host Lincoln-Way Central (4-5).
Girls Basketball
Iroquois West Tournament
Hoopeston 40, Gardner-South Wilmington 38: All-Tournament selection Chelsea Schultz scored 18 points for Gardner-South Wilmington (5-8). Breann Fischer added nine points for the Panthers, who went 1-3 in the tournament.
Oswego Tournament
Minooka 39, Glenbard East 24: Larissa McLemen poured in 16 points to pace Minooka (4-9).
Boys Bowling
Plainfield North 2,821, Hinsdale South 2,792: Aaron Dunn had a 216 game and a three-games series of 623 in leading Plainfield North at Willowbrook Lanes. Eric Maybach (567) and Jeremiah Taylor (563) also starred for the Tigers in the Southwest Prairie meet.
