Carlie Corrigan, of Plainfield North, is this week’s Herald-News Girls Basketball Player of the Week.
Corrigan, a senior guard, poured in 43 points in a 82-81 overtime loss Dec. 11 in a Southwest Prairie game at Plainfield East. The point total set a school record for points previously held by Tekeya Green in 2008 (35 points). Corrigan finished 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and hit 3-of-6 three-point attempts,
