Juozas Balciunas, of Lemont, is the Herald-News Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Balciunas, a 6-foot senior point guard, was one of five starters to score in double figures for the Indians as they handily defeated Eisenhower 86-51. Balciunas scored a game-high 24 points and added eight assists and three steals. The victory was the Indians’ ninth in a row, keeping them perfect on the season.
