As a serious wrestler, are you worried about getting cauliflower ear?
Not at all. I think its a badge of honor. I don’t have it now and I’m not looking to get it, but if it did happen I wouldn’t be mad.
What’s the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?
My drum set. I play anything from punk to classic rock to alternative. I play a little bass guitar, too.
Do you have a favorite band?
Definitely Dave Mathews Band. They’re great in concert and have been around for a long time. In my opinion, they’re the best that ever lived.
What school is your biggest rival?
Sandburg. To be the best, you have to beat the best.
You’re the principal at Lockport. What’s one rule you might change?
I’d change the rule that we’re not allowed to dress up on Halloween. It’s not very fun to go to school on Halloween and not be in a costume.
You’re getting letters for recruitment. Which colleges stand out?
Getting letters from Stanford is cool. I’ve also gotten letters from Princeton and everywhere in between.
What’s one thing people don’t know about wrestlers?
We’re probably the hardest workers you’ll ever find. I think we have a great advantage going into the world just from being involved in the sport. The hard work and dedication, you carry that with you the rest of your life.
Dream prom date?
Megan Fox.
Who would play you in a film about your life?
Will Ferrell. It would be pretty funny.
As told to Logan Malloy
