Meaghan McMahon, of Lincoln-Way East, is this week’s Herald-News Girls Basketball Player of the Week.
A senior forward, McMahon was named the tournament MVP at the Medieval Classic. In the championship game against Lincoln-Way North, a 57-46 victory, she scored 16 points. Over four games, all of them wins, McMahon averaged 14 points in leading the Griffins to their fifth straight tournament title.
