Youth hitting camp Sunday at Plainfield South

Bill Krejci, of USA Baseball, will conduct a youth hitting camp Sunday at Plainfield South High School.
Krejci has been affiliated with USA Baseball for 16 years. In 1998, he was an assistant on the USA youth team that won the gold medal at the world games in Fairview Heights. The next year, he coached the team that won the gold medal. He also was the coach of the Junior team that won a silver medal at the world championships in Edmonton, Canada and is an adviser for all levels of USA Baseball.
The times of the camp are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for grades 5 to 8 and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for grades 1 to 4. The cost is $40. Checks can be made payable to Bill Krejci and mailed to Plainfield South baseball coach Phil Bodine at Plainfield South High School, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road, Plainfield, IL 60586.
