Boys Basketball
Reed-Custer 57, Beecher 49: Travis Schoonover and Connor Anderson led Reed-Custer with nine points each. Marshall Landis led Beecher with 13 points.
Girls Bowling
Lincoln-Way West 1,698, Lincoln-Way Central 1,603: Morgan Flaherty rolled a 211 game to lead Lincoln-Way West to the win in the SouthWest Suburban Conference match. Morgan Wheeler added a 185 game. Brianna Paulson recorded a 197 for Lincoln-Way Central.
Boys Bowling
Lincoln-Way Central 2,015, Lincoln-Way North 1,887: Chris Clark posted high game of 264 and high series of 451 to lead Lincoln-Way Central in a SouthWest Suburban Conference match. Ryan Fremgen added a 231 game and 421 series, and Justin Misiora a 214 game and 402 series for the Knights.
Hillcrest 2,778, Lemont 2,775: Ben Stech rolled a 257 game 257 and 677 series for Lemont in South Suburban Conference play. Bobby Parson and Mike Martinez topped 200 with scores of 219 and 204, respectively, for the Indians.
Wrestling
Wilmington 49, Brother Rice 15: Andrew Liaromatis (152 pounds), Nick Vancurra (195) and Derrick Romano (285) won via fall for Wilmington. Colin Weiss (120), Austin Hendrick (126), Sean Liaromatis (170), Dexter Fierro (182) and Kyal Davis (220) won by decision.
Women’s Basketball
Joliet Junior College 64, Harper 52: Falon Edwards led four players in double figures with 19 points and added four steals as host Joliet Junior College prevailed in an N4C contest. Briana McCurdy (15 points, 3 steals), Alana Warren (15 points, 6 rebounds) and Brianna Marble (12 points, 9 rebounds) also reached double digits in scoring for JJC.
