Girls Basketball

No. 2 Bolingbrook 92, Joliet Central 26: Aysia Bugg had 26 points for Bolingbrook (13-4, 6-0). Juatece McNear had seven points for Joliet Central.

Homewood-Flossmoor 77, No. 10 Lincoln-Way Central 43: Madeline Bednarz scored 10 points for Lincoln-Way Central.

Gardner-South Wilmington 56, Illinois Lutheran 26: Chelsea Schultz had 26 points for Gardner-South Wilmington (7-11, 4-3).

Sandburg 65, Joliet West 40: Samantha Youngwirth had 15 points and Carly Katalinic 10 for Sandburg (9-9, 2-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue road win.

Interstate-8 Conference Tournament

No. 7 Peotone 54, Reed-Custer 17: Caitlyn Crawford (11 points) and Brittney Campione (9 points) led Peotone (15-5) in the first-round game. Caitlyn Welch scored 10 points for Reed-Custer (3-16).

Boys Bowling

Minooka 3,124, Lincoln-Way West 2,867: Minooka’s Zach Segatto had a 279 game and 756 series. Vince Palione paced West with a 247 game and 685 series.

Plainfield North 2,938, Joliet Central 2,729: Aaron Dunn (639 series), Zack Berndl (264 game) and Chris Liebke (582 series) led Plainfield North.

Girls Bowling

Lockport 2,108, Joliet Central 1,768: Bri Zabierek’s 266 game and Megan Szczepanski’s 452 series paced Lockport at Crest Hill Lanes. Caitlin Magruder’s 397 series led Joliet Central.

Lemont 1,957, Shepard 1,479: Lizzie Melvin (401 series, 221 game), Nina Moeller (408 series) and Nora Collins (406 series) led visiting Lemont (10-0) at Centennial Lanes.

Minooka 3,089, Plainfield Central 2,616: Emily Koulis rolled a 665 series for Minooka in the Southwest Prairie dual at Town and Country Lanes. Kristine Countryman’s 594 series led Central.

Lincoln-Way West 1,574, Stagg 1,536: Visiting West won the SouthWest Suburban Red crossover at Palos Lanes.

Lincoln-Way North 1,846, Lincoln-Way Central 1,627: Kayla O’Brien had a 447 series for North in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way East 1,838, Sandburg 1,653: Rachel Tobolaski had a 233 game for Lincoln-Way East (5-5, 5-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual.

Wrestling

Lincoln-Way Central 54, Homewood-Flossmoor 12: Lincoln-Way Central won the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual.

Coal City 72, Westmont 6: Jonah Englert had a pin at 120 pounds for Coal City.

Boys Swimming

Lincoln-Way Central 112, Homewood-Flossmoor 69: Jacob Muellerschoen won the 500-yard freestyle (5 minutes, 24.27 seconds) and Cody Morris won the 100-yard backstroke (55.93 seconds) for Lincoln-Way Central.
